What is KuvarSend?
KuvarSend is a cross-border money-transfer app that lets you hold a US-Dollar balance and send money across Africa — currently Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Rwanda, and Uganda — at live exchange rates. The regulated payment, settlement, and currency-conversion services are provided by our licensed Payment Partners, Yellow Card and Startbutton.
How do I get help with a transaction?
The fastest route is in-app: open the transaction and tap Contact support, or email support@kuvarpay.com with your registered email and the transaction reference. We respond as quickly as we can during business hours.
I sent money to the wrong recipient or wrong wallet — can it be reversed?
Money transfers and on-chain crypto sends are generally irreversible once processed. We rely on the account number, wallet address, and network you enter — not the name — so please double-check before confirming. If something went wrong, contact support@kuvarpay.com immediately and we will help where recovery is possible, though it cannot be guaranteed.
Why do I need to verify my identity (KYC)?
We and our Payment Partners are legally required to verify your identity before you can move money, under anti-money-laundering laws. Verification is handled with our partner Smile Identity. You will not be able to fund, send, or receive until the verification required for your tier is complete.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app and go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently closes your KuvarSend account and signs you out. Withdraw any remaining balance first — accounts that still hold funds can’t be deleted. For legal and anti-money-laundering reasons we retain certain transaction and identity records for the period required by law, after which they are deleted. You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@kuvarpay.com.
Is my money safe?
Your balance is electronic stored value in US Dollars, held and safeguarded by or through our licensed Payment Partners. It is not a bank deposit and is not covered by deposit insurance. We protect your account with PIN and biometric login, device-integrity checks, and encryption. Keep your PIN and device secure, and tell us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access.
How are exchange rates and fees calculated?
The rate you see is the rate you get; it includes a small margin over the underlying market rate. Any fees are shown in full before you confirm a transaction. The final rate is locked at the moment the transaction is processed. See our Terms of Service for detail.
Which countries and currencies are supported?
KuvarSend currently supports Nigeria (NGN), Ghana (GHS), Kenya (KES), South Africa (ZAR), Rwanda (RWF), and Uganda (UGX). Available corridors, methods, and limits vary by country and verification tier and are shown in the app.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the KuvarSend app, or by emailing privacy@kuvarpay.com from your registered address. Empty any remaining balance first. Certain transaction and identity records are retained for the statutory anti-money-laundering period, after which they are deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
